Honey Bee is well known for their many adorable animals that hold and wear fun coordinating accessories and clothing. The pieces have been sized so that they are interchangeable with all the other animals.
I showcased one long card and three smaller cards, but I just couldn’t stop partying. I have ten different card versions to share with you today. All the measurements are included throughout the post. So grab a cuppa and let’s get started!
I started by stamping the animals, accessories, and clothing with copic friendly Gina K Amalgam Ink onto #80 Neenah cardstock. I added eye glasses to all the animals with glasses from either the Mouse or the Llama set. The animals are fun…and nerdy! All the images were cut using their coordinating die sets.
Bill The Bear Stamp Set – (Bill The Bear Die Set)
Pinky The Pig Stamp Set – (Pinky The Pig Die Set)
Penny The Platypus Stamp Set – (Penny The Platypus Die Set)
No Probllama Stamp Set – (No Probllama Die Set)
Mae The Mouse Stamp Set – (Mae The Mouse Die Set)
Lily The Lamb Stamp Set – (Lily The Lamb Die Set)
Feelin’ Foxy Stamp Set – (Feelin’ Foxy Die Set)
I also stamped some additional accessories from:
Snow Buddies – (Snow Buddies Die Set)
Blah Humbunny – (Blah Humbunny Die Set)
I cut nine polaroid windows using the Lawn Fawn Selfie Frames Die Set. I started by just playing around and mixing and matching the pieces.
I had some new Arteza Acrylic paints that I wanted to try out. I added white to the colors to give them a lighter pastel look. I spread a small amount on my Tim Holtz Glass Mat and loaded a 2″ Speedball Brayer.
I cut a piece of black cardstock slightly bigger than the picture frame. Sentiments were added to each frame. I list them below with each individual pic.
Small pieces of patterned paper were added behind the openings. Penny The Platypus was turned into a duck. After all…the bill of a platypus looks like a duck!
The card bases are:
#110 Neenah Solar Crest 4 1/4” x 3 5/8”
Black cardstock 4” x 3 3/8”
Kraft cardstock 3 3/4” x 3 1/8”
The cards will fit nicely in a 4 1/2” x 4 1/2” or 5” x 5” envelope.
At one point I considered leaving the images plain. It sure would have saved a lot of time coloring. Because I made seven different animals, I used an insane number of copic markers! LOL
I have also included another version of the long card using three animals instead of four. The card base is 9 1/4” x 8” and folded lengthwise. Both long versions will fit in a standard business envelope.
I have included the details for each pic for those who are interested.
