Honey Bee Sneak Peek Day One: Feel Better
It’s Release Week at Honey Bee Stamps. This is Day One of the Cheerful Love Sneak Peeks. There are 35 wonderful buzzworthy words, and 2 styles of exclamation points, to choose from with this new Cheerful Sentiments stamp set. You can use them alone or mix and match them to come up with your own expressions.

With so many family and friends suffering from the flu I thought that “feel better” was a good place to start. I can’t share with you any images…just yet…so I chose one of my favorites, Snow Birds stamp set, from the last release. I stamped the bird, with Ranger’s Archival Black ink, onto Tim Holtz Watercolor cardstock. It was simple enough to pencil a mask and a couple of strings on it’s face. I went over the lines with a Sakura Pigma Micron .05 black pen.
I quickly watercolored the bird using Tim Holtz Distress Inks.
I cut the bird out, using my Sizzix Sidekick, with the coordinating Snow Bird Die. Honestly, that Sidekick never leaves my desk.
To finish the card I stamped the sentiment onto a 5” x 3.75” piece of Neenah Solar Crest cardstock, drew the black lines 3/4” from the edge using the Sakura Pigma Micron .05 black pen, cut a 5.25” x 4” piece of Khaki cardstock, and layered it all onto a Neenah cardstock base using a Kokuyo Dot Tape Liner. The snowbird was glued on using Ranger Multi Matte Medium. While there are several layers of cardstock, this card is flat and will go through the mail easily.
